ATCU: Kucherenko sanctioned «runover» on those who refused from central heating

Minister of Housing Alexey Kucherenko decree for inspection of housing and communal inspection of the facts of mass off of central heating in the Lugansk region is the beginning of genocide against the people. This opinion was expressed by the head of the Association of the Thermotechnical Companies of Ukraine (ATCU) Vitaly Yakovenko.

«It seems that the Ministry has decided to go in the search for a «scapegoat» for their own failures in politics and communal heating, from which the industry feels worse. Apparently, they become ordinary citizens who are fed up with shortages of heating in the apartments. The current dilapidated communal system of the country is unable to provide consumers with quality services for adequate payment», - said the expert.

According to Yakovenko, the Minister, instead of fighting for civilized living conditions of people, began to action against them under the guise of ridiculous reasons.

«Around the world, and in Ukraine in particular, there are many schemes for the transition from the centralized heating systems to autonomous and individual. And vice versa. In this case, without prejudice to the neighbors, buildings in general and the communal heating services. But the Ministry stubbornly rejects them as unnecessary in its policy. Minister's order has once again gave reason to believe that his interests lie far from the communal wealth of Ukrainians and concerns of local authorities. More like the fact that the favor of the Ministry is directed towards the crumbling Soviet system utilities with its shady financial schemes and pathological indifference to consumers», - noted Yakovenko.

The head of ATCU stressed that instead of threats from the Minister we would like to hear and see that how his initiatives have been put into practice to create comfortable living conditions: how many heat pumps were installed in Ukraine, how many homes were isolated, where are the money obtained under the Kyoto Protocol going, how's the State program of reforming housing and communal services.

«So far we only see the work of one Kucherenko's idea - Housing and Communal inspection: demonstration of public hearings on improving the tariffs in Kyiv, which did not change the situation, and its coming a punitive raid on those who do not want to put up with communal tyranny»,- said the head of ATCU.
